2023 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Made entirely from Oakville-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine touts the expressiveness and minerality the appellation is known for. The nose leads with Rainier cherries, fig seed, mushrooms, and milk chocolate. The palate is one broad-reaching arc, beginning with sweeter notes of cherry juice on the way to a finish that evokes freshly roasted coffee beans.
2023 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
This Cabernet shows a singular note of Sarsaparilla on the nose. That woodiness gives way to pastry characteristics like baker’s chocolate, dark cacao powder, and vanilla buttercream. There’s a playful whiff of blue raspberry and cream soda, grounded by lower-toned notes of slate. Robust and mouth-filling on the palate, the wine features dusty, fine-grained tannins and dreamy early summer flavors like overripe strawberry.
2024 Napa Valley Chardonnay
The Chardonnay offers citrus and orchard fruit on the nose, in the form of yellow apple, baked pears, and lemon meringue. There’s a lively zesty element – a hit of citrus rind which offsets the sweeter butterscotch, honeycomb, and pastry crust notes nicely. Gentle wafts of gardenia give the wine an intriguing extra floral layer. On the palate, there’s textured acidity throughout, with pear tarte Tatin characteristics upfront followed by pastry crust and a decidedly long and creamy finish.
