Ingredients
- 1 NY strip steak, around 10-14 oz
- ¼ cup softened butter
- Fresh thyme sprigs
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
Preparation
- Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly on all sides of your steak.
- Heat a cast iron pan over medium high heat with 2 tablespoons of oil.
- Cook the steak for about 4 minutes on each side.
- Grate garlic into butter and add thyme. Mix to combine and top onto the cooked steak, allowing time for it to melt.
- Slice and serve with Pine Ridge Andrus Cabernet Sauvignon.
