It is approachable in its youth, but never fleeting, offering a drinking window that rewards both immediacy and patience. This FORTIS is focused and precise, yet beautifully rounded. The wine reveals the discipline and deliberation behind every decision that made this latest release possible.

Fortis, meaning “strength” in Latin, represents the finest craftsmanship at Pine Ridge Vineyards, showcasing Napa Valley’s top terroirs. This exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon blends the power of Stags Leap District, Howell Mountain’s elevation, and Carneros’ cool vibrancy. Fermented in small lots using oak puncheons, concrete tanks, and stainless steel, it captures unique fruit nuances. Aged meticulously for 26 months in select barrels, followed by 18 months in the bottle, Fortis delivers unparalleled intensity and elegance, crafted to captivate now and for years to come. The recommended cellar aging window is 15-25 years.
