FAQ and Terms of Club Membership
How Often Will I Receive Wine Selections?
You will receive wine selections every quarter, four times per year. Your credit card will automatically be billed for the retail price of the wines less your 20 percent discount, plus any applicable states taxes.
3-bottle level only: There are no substitutions, but wine can be added to your shipment.
How Am I Notified Of Upcoming Shipments?
Our main form of communication with members is email. Please note that we do not sell, share, lease, or rent your information; your information is for our use only.
An email will be sent two to three weeks before each shipment to notify you of the wines that will be shipped and the cost. In this email, we will ask that you check the information listed to ensure your credit card number, expiration date, and shipping address are current. You may also delay your shipment if you are going on vacation. Changes to your account must be made by the deadline date noted in the email to avoid any return, redirect, or reshipment fees.
It is your responsibility to notify us of changes to your account, which include, but are not limited to, email address, telephone number, or shipping address. If you inform us of information changes after the shipment has been processed, you will incur a return and/or redirect fee.
How Do I Change My Account Information?
When you sign up for the wine club, we create an online profile for you with a login ID and password, which is sent in your Welcome email. You may visit PineRidgeVineyards.com to update your information at any time, except during a small window surrounding your quarterly shipment—after the deadline date for changes and before the scheduled shipment date. Changes made during this window will incur a fee. You may also contact us directly to update your account.
When Will I Get Billed For The Club Selection?
Typically one week before each shipment date, your credit card will be billed and the files sent to an outside fulfillment warehouse for packing, palletizing, and shipping. To avoid any return or redirect charges, changes to your account must be made by the deadline date, after which the charge is processed and the confirmation sent.
Will I Be Notified When My Selection Is Released?
Yes. Will-call members will receive a postcard. Ship members will receive an email automatically generated by the carrier, listing the tracking number of your package. Click on the link to follow your package’s progress so you will be available to sign for the wine.
DOES SOMEONE NEED TO BE PRESENT WHEN MY SHIPMENT IS DELIVERED?
Yes. All wine shipments must be signed for by an adult 21 years or older. Please track your package’s progress by clicking on the tracking number in the automated email generated when your wine leaves the warehouse. To avoid any return, redirect, or reshipment fees, we highly suggest that you provide a business address where an adult is available to sign for the wine. If you do not have a business address, contact us and we can update future packages to ship directly to the nearest UPS Customer Center, UPS Access Point, or FedEx Office, where they will hold your wine without charge for three to five days.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS THE DELIVERY?
Carriers will attempt three deliveries. After the third attempt, the carrier will hold the package at their hub for an additional three days before returning it to the winery. You will be responsible for the return and reshipment charges.
Pine Ridge Vineyards guarantees the condition of the wine when signed for on the first delivery attempt.
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO PICK UP MY WILL-CALL WINE?
Members who choose to pick up their wines at the winery enjoy a pickup window of approximately four to five weeks, after which the wine will automatically be shipped to the address on file. Shipping charges will apply.
If wine is not picked up within this time window and we ship the wine to you, please note that your order will be credited and a new order processed with shipping charges and proper tax rates of the destination address. Credits may take 2 – 10 days to show in your account.
Can I have someone else pick up my will-call selection at the winery?
Yes, but you must first send written authorization to WineClub@PineRidgeWine.com. We ask that you notify us at least five days in advance and include the name of the person who is picking up your shipment. This person is not eligible to receive club benefits such as complimentary tastings.
WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO BRING WHEN VISITING THE WINERY?
Wine Club members must present their member card or valid ID to enjoy member benefits and discounts on purchases. This also gives us the opportunity to review your account information for accuracy, and to ensure that every visit and purchase is recorded for future loyalty-point programs. We take pride in keeping your personal information safe and free from fraudulent activity.
Do I need a reservation for a tasting or tour?
Tasting reservations are only required for groups of six or more. For groups fewer than six, members may visit the winery during normal business hours for a complimentary Estate Tasting in our tasting room.
For a relaxing tasting experience for you and your guests, and to avoid large crowds, we highly suggest visiting the winery Monday through Thursday, and before 1:00 pm Friday through Sunday.
Tours are by reservation only at noon daily. Club members receive four complimentary tours per calendar year; Appellation Society 12-bottle and Collectors Club members receive an unlimited number of tours. Savors are at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm daily. All members receive 20 percent savings on Savor Pine Ridge.
Can I Send Friends To Visit And Taste/Tour On My Account?
Members must be present with their guests for them to enjoy complimentary tastings and tours and wine discounts.
Can I Purchase A Gift Wine Club Membership?
Yes. Let us know how many shipments you would like the recipient to receive. The minimum requirement is four shipments. Please have ready the recipient’s date of birth, email address, telephone number, valid shipping address where they will be available to sign for the wine on the first delivery attempt, and your gift message.
What is the membership cancellation policy?
Requests to cancel your membership can be made after you have received two club shipments and with a 30-day notice. If the cancellation notice occurs during a scheduled club month (February, April, September, November), that shipment will be processed and shipped as your final. All wine purchases, tax and shipping are nonrefundable after billing.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to WineClub@PineRidgeWine.com.
Cancellation requests will be confirmed in writing. If you do not receive a confirmation within a few days, please reach out again.
If I unsubscribe from Pine Ridge Vineyards e-mails, will I still receive important club shipment information?
Pine Ridge Vineyards has two email lists:
- Wine Club mailing list: Emails include preshipment notifications, tracking numbers, and club event information.
- General mailing list: Emails include special offers, event information, and announcements of new releases.
If you unsubscribe from the Wine Club preshipment notification, please note that you are responsible for contacting us with updates to your information, such as your shipping address. If your wine ships to an old address, you will be responsible for any return or redirect shipping charges.
